Current conditions

The snow has let up for now, we have just over 3 feet of fresh snow and we still have power! Yay!

3:40pm

I actually wrapped my camera in a plastic bag to go take these outside, but it was still getting wet so I had to rush. I was only out there under 5 minutes and came in covered in snow from head to toe!

Whiteout conditions

This guy lives across the street and he ROCKS. He clears the driveways and street for our entire block for FREE! He started plowing at 11:30 last night and didn't stop till 4:00 this afternoon!
This is why I watched Shrek 2 four times today and Cars 3 times today.

This is not poorly focused, not grainy... nope thats the visibility from 25 feet away.

3:15 pm

As you can see its halfway up our 6 foot fence, so 3 feet and we got more after this.

Poor Jack, he's got a dunce cap!

Saturday, about 3:00 pm

Neighbor kids playing in their yard... they seem to get taller by the hour!

Saturday, 2-3 feet of snow later

We have gotten another 6-8 inches of snow since these were taken.
There is a car in there somewhere, can you find it?

The trees in the yard next door, they have it set up like a tree conservation area, its pretty cool.
Taken from upstairs in the boys bedroomThere is my mailbox again
Taken from dd's bedroom, the is the garage roof and those are exhaust vents. This is where I have to go to clear the satelitte which is up on the higher roof.

I have lots of pics of the trees, they are so pretty!

You can see one of the snow removal trucks in the baground, they snow eaters (like a giant snowblower) fill them with snow to hbe hauled off up the street from my house and dumped.

This is the view from my front door.

Also from the front doorThe mailbox will be gone soon.

Just beyond the fence but before the tree there is a driveway. can you see it? That's OK, I can't either.

My plants out front, they are almost 3 feet high.

This was taken to show its starting to snow again, needed the dark background. you can also see the fences plastered with blowing snow. This was taken from the second story.
Doo Dooo Doooo, looking out my back door.

Taken from inside the garage. , notice the foot deep slush under the snow. Its loads of fun.

Blizzard 2008

It rained until 3 yesterday, the snow started at about 3:00 or 3:30 and these pictures were taken around 6:30. But this monring we have between 26-32 inches of snow and more on the way. I have more pictures to add. I will be adding the daytime pics in just a little while.
